Day 47 — finally got the drift physics feeling right. Tweaked friction coefficients and added screen shake on impact. The game actually feels fun now.

The drift physics in this demo are genuinely insane. Can't believe one dev built this. Backed the Alpha milestone — I want to see this finished.

Every engine. Every platform. Every developer.

One platform for devs, players, and backers

Whether you're a Roblox creator, a Scratch beginner, or shipping on Unreal — Twitter isn't built for devlogs, itch.io isn't social, and Kickstarter doesn't know your history. GameLog is the missing layer.

  • 📊
    Per-game devlog threads
Every post is tied to a project, so your entire game's history lives in one browsable thread.
  • 👥
    Follow devs, not just games
Subscribe to a developer and see everything they ship — across all their projects.
  • 🏆
    Milestone markers
Tag posts as prototype, alpha, beta, or shipped to create a visual progress timeline.
  • 🎮
Players get a social feed too
Players post reactions, reviews, and hype for the games they're watching. Devs and fans share the same feed.
  • 💰
    Crowdfunding tied to milestones
Set funding goals that unlock when your game hits a milestone — backers pay for real progress, not promises.
  • 🆕
    Every engine, every platform
Roblox, Scratch, Godot, Unity, Unreal, GameMaker, Pygame — if you make games, this is your home. No gatekeeping.

🎮
Player social feed
Players follow games and devs, post reactions, and share hype. Developer and player posts live in the same unified feed.
💰
Milestone crowdfunding
Set funding tiers locked to real development milestones. Backers pay when you ship a demo, alpha, or full release — not upfront.

From first commit to shipped game

GameLog follows your entire development lifecycle, not just the finished product.

1
Create your account
Sign up as a developer or player. Pick your engines — Roblox, Scratch, Godot, Unity, Unreal, anything — and set your interests.
2
Add a game
Create a project page for each game you're working on. Add engine, genre, and a short pitch.
3
Post devlogs
Share progress updates as you build — screenshots, videos, writeups. Tag by milestone.

Drift physics finally feel right
Spent all week on the friction model. The key insight was decoupling lateral and longitudinal friction. Added a counter-steer assist so new players don't spin out instantly, but it can be turned off.

Didn't expect to get hooked by a Scratch platformer today. dev_mae's progress in 8 devlogs is genuinely impressive. This is exactly why GameLog exists.

Roblox devs don't get enough credit. Tower of Kira looks better than most published games. Backed the alpha milestone. Following every update.

Fund games based on real progress, not promises

Backers pledge to specific development milestones — demo, alpha, beta, launch. Funds only unlock when the milestone is reached and verified by the community. No more backing vaporware.

  • 🔒
    Milestone-locked funds
Each funding tier is locked to a milestone. When the dev posts the milestone, backers vote to release the funds.

Backers get early access, devlog notifications, and a backer badge on their profile. Built-in skin in the game.
  • 📊
    Transparent history
Every devlog is proof of work. Backers can see every update since day one before deciding to pledge.
